Association with Mind Charity – “Happy Monday” pilot scheme interviews
On Friday 6th September – DJ Plest played a 60’s and 70’s night at the Queen Victoria pub in Shalford, just south of Guildford.
This was in association with the “Mind” charity which were promoting a pilot scheme for the Monday 9th September which is called “Happy Monday”.
There was a raffle held on the night which raised over £100 for the charity.
On “Happy Monday” 9th September – I went to the Cranleigh “Mind” shop to interview the manager Tina Spear and volunteer Stephanie Weate.
The Charity “Mind” is very close to my heart and they do fantastic work. Never forget there is always someone to talk to and will listen out there.
